The initial audit of the Quality Management System was conducted at the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 international Quality Management System standard.

On April 04-05, 2024, the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy conducted an initial audit of the Quality Management System in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 international Quality Management System standard.

During the initial assessment of the Quality Management System, which operates within the scope of “development of educational programs and implementation of educational activities for the training of maritime specialists, including higher education, secondary vocational education, advanced training, improvement, retraining of seafarers”, relevant procedures, regulations, instructions and other documented information were inspected within the framework of the adequacy assessment. The Quality Management System of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy was also developed and operates on the basis of a number of International Conventions and other relevant normative documents operating in the maritime field.

The audit was carried out by a group of auditors of “Certifica” LLC, the official representative of the QSCert International Certification Organization in Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that, in preparation for the external audit, a group of ADDA representatives were trained by Certifica LLC on the Internal Audit Program of the Quality Management System based on the ISO 19011 International Standard.
