Reliminary audit of the Quality Management System standard at the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy.

On April 04-05, 2024, the preliminary audit of the Quality Management System was conducted in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 international Quality Management System standard at the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy.
Relevant procedures and regulations during the initial assessment at the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy, which operates within the scope of the Quality Management System “development of educational programs for the training of maritime specialists and implementation of educational activities, including higher education, secondary education, professional development, improvement, retraining of seafarers” , instructions and other documented information were reviewed as part of the adequacy assessment. The Quality Management System of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy has been developed and operates on the basis of a number of International Conventions and other relevant normative documents operating in the field of Maritime Industry.
The audit was carried out by the group of auditors of “Certifica” LLC, the official representative of QSCert International Certification Organization in Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that on the eve of preparation for the external audit, a group of representatives of ADDA was organized by Certifica LLC on the Internal audit program of the Quality Management System based on the ISO 19011 International standard.
